Privacy Policy

When you upload a resume, the PDF or Word file is read in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by our servers. Close the tab and it is gone.

What we can keep is the parsed profile — the handful of fields the map actually scores against. Nothing else from the document survives the parse, including the raw text.

• Your account. Your email address or mobile number, whichever you signed in with, and whether it is verified. A display name and picture too, if you signed in with Google or LinkedIn.
• Your parsed profile. Skills, industries, cities, years of experience and a role title. That is the whole list.
• What you saved. Roles you saved, opened or marked as applied, so your journey tracker survives a reload.
• Alerts, if you turn them on. The mobile number to send to, how often, your match threshold, and a log of what was sent.
• A referrer profile, if you create one. Your name, your employer, and whether you have been verified.
• A city waitlist entry, if you join one. One contact address and the city you asked for.
• Small preferences. Your theme, whether fresher mode is on, and when you were last here — so “new since your last visit” can mean something.

• We never sell your data. Not to recruiters, not to data brokers, not to anyone, in any form, ever.
• We never charge candidates. Every part of your search is free, and there is no tier that is not.
• We never allow paid referrals. Referrals on Atlasy carry no payment, payout or bounty in either direction. There is not even a field for it.
• We never sell your ranking. No employer can pay to score higher against your resume or to appear brighter on your map.
• We never message you unasked. Alerts are off until you switch them on, and every message carries a one-tap unsubscribe.

When you delete something, the rows are removed from the database, not flagged as hidden and kept. There is no archive, no soft-delete column and no tombstone we could restore you from later.

• Your profile: replace it any time from your resume settings, or email us to remove it outright.
• Your alerts: turn them off in alert settings, which deletes the subscription rather than pausing it.
• Everything: email hello@atlasy.in from your account address. We delete the account and every row attached to it — profile, saved roles, alerts, logs, referrer profile, waitlist entries — within seven days, and reply to confirm when it is done.

Deleting your account also ends any alerts immediately. Signing out, by contrast, deletes nothing — it just ends the session.

The services that make the product work, and only for that. None of them receives your resume, because we do not have it.

• Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform — delivers your job alerts. It receives the mobile number you gave us for alerts, and the message itself.
• MSG91 — delivers one-time codes by SMS. It receives the mobile number you are signing in with.
• Resend — delivers one-time codes and referrer verification by email. It receives the address you are signing in with.
• Google Maps and Places — draws the map and resolves office locations.
• Google or LinkedIn — only if you chose to sign in with them.

Turning alerts off stops the first of these immediately, and deleting your account ends all of them.
